HOW WE STRETCH RIPPLED AND WAVY CARPET
Carpet stretching is a meticulous process which involves disengaging the carpet from the wall, inspecting the backing, tackstrip and pad, then using a power stretcher (not just a knee kicker!), getting as much stretch as we can, then reattaching the stretched carpet to the tackstrip, trimming the excess, and tucking back under the baseboard, or to the wall.

Often this can be accomplished without moving everything out of the room. Usually we're just stretching in one or two directions, and the things on one side of the room can stay put!

CARPET REPAIRS
Repairs come in many different forms, shapes and sizes. Whether you spilled some bleach and discolored the carpet, your dog got too excited and ripped a hole in a seam, or your cat scratched up a transition, we have the tools and ability to fix it!

It usually requires a donor piece, it's great if you have extra carpet laying around, but if not, no worries! We can pull a piece from the back of a linen closet, use that for the repair, then replace in the closet with something similar.

Sometimes the repair will initially show, but will usually blend in over time. We're basically putting a new piece in a worn area, but with some time and regular foot traffic, that should blend together.

CARPET AND UPHOLSTERY CLEANING
We offer a truck mounted steam cleaning service. It is by far the best, most thorough form of cleaning. It involves laying down a heated prespray, what this does is attract the soil to itself, then we come behind and steam it at about 225 degrees. We then run some dry passes over the wetted area to extract as much moisture as we can. It usually takes about 8-12 hours to fully dry. You can walk on the carpet after it's cleaned, you just want to be cautious coming on hard surfaces, because the bottom of your feet will be a little damp.

We have been through the training courses, and are professionally trained and IICRC nationally certified in an industry where you don't have to be certified.

SQUEAKY FLOOR REPAIRS
Squeaky floors can be tricky. Our goal is always to minimize the squeaks, we can't guarantee that it'll be completely silent, it is still a wood subfloor under there!

What it involves is pulling the carpet back, pulling the padding back, and we use 2" deck screws to secure the floor boards to the joists. Often the seams are the issue, where 2 boards are rubbing against each other. This will require the room to be as empty as possible. We can help move some of the bigger items if needed!
